The Gaelic Language class in Mississauga is beginning a new course based on R.T.Es (Fall 2006)

Turas Teanga. This is a multimedia course highly recommended for learning the Irish Language.

Comhaltas Session every other Sunday starting October 24 from 2 - 4 pm. at the Emerald Isle Seniors Centre, 1190 Danforth Ave., Toronto. ( 1 block west of the Greenwood subway station) $ will be collected 2.00 as a contribution towards room rental and snacks.

The sessions will focus on tunes from the "classic" repertoire - the good old tunes that "everyone knows" but are seldom played at sessions.


Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann - Hamilton Irish Arts Sessions

Open drop-in sessions every Tuesday night at the Corktown Irish Pub 175 Young St Street Hamilton. Everyone welcome to watch, or if you can play an instrument please join us . . . . we don't bite! Just learning - come early ( 7 pm) to the slow learner session.

Irish Choral Society of Canada Children ( 8 - 12), youth ( 13 - 17) and adults ( 18 + )
For the preservation and promotion of the Irish choral tradition in Canada. Artistic Director Karen D'Aoust BFA, Music. First rehearsals begin early in October, once a week. Includes educational material and instruction, with 5 master classes in vocal technique for youth and adults and 5 mini master classes for children.
